Professional Dog Training Services
Puppy Socialization and Desensitization
This program prepares your puppy for life by introducing and desensitizing them to various typically high-anxiety environments. It will help your puppy transition and grow into a well-balanced, confident dog who is comfortable in all situations.
Basic Obedience Training
This program will provide your dog with basic training and obedience for essential commands on a leash, including "sit," "down," "come," "walk easy," and "off," along with implied stays, all practiced in distracting environments. You'll find that communication and daily life with your dog become more enjoyable and manageable.
Advanced Obedience Training
Take your dog to the advanced level! Once basic training is complete, the advanced program will refine off-leash commands, including "sit," "down," "come," "walk easy," and "off," along with implied stays, all practiced in distracting environments. Off-leash training allows your dog to run freely while giving you the confidence that you can recall them at any time, just as you would with a leash.
Our Mission
At Kindred K9 Training, our mission is to deliver exceptional obedience training for your cherished pet while equipping you with the skills to communicate effectively with your dog. Often, dogs struggle to listen because they either don’t understand what’s expected of them due to inadequate training or receive mixed signals. Our goal is to train your dog in a way that clarifies expectations while guiding you in effective communication.
The duration of this process varies for each dog. We start with a consultation, where John will assess your dog and determine the best approach to enhance your relationship. From there, we’ll schedule training sessions at your home. Once your dog is fully trained, John will teach you how to communicate effectively and command your dog with confidence.
Recent Training Sessions
John Malone is a Certified Master Trainer and behaviorist who has trained under and is certified by top-tier dog trainers. He has also trained countless dogs while working at a board-and-train facility. Additionally, John competes in dog sports, specifically Schutzhund.
He has trained under Bryan Hendricks and at FrenDog Training Academy, and he is proficient in addressing various forms of disobedience and aggression.

As soon as possible! Dogs, especially puppies, can quickly develop bad habits and become disobedient. Starting training early helps establish good behaviors right from the start.
During the consultation, we’ll assess your dog’s temperament and discuss their behavior. You’ll gain a clear understanding of our training methods at Kindred K9 Training. We’ll also determine the appropriate length of training and provide you with a quote for our services.
